How it works

Evidence first. Verdicts never.

OLA Report is an independent, community-driven information service. We are not a lender, regulator, or law firm — and our labels reflect available data, not legal findings.

01

Search a phone number, app, or website

Enter any phone number, loan app name, or website link. We compare available SEC records with community complaints and identifiers.

02

Review the evidence

Every profile clearly displays available regulatory records, real stories from borrowers, screenshots of threats, and reasons for its caution score.

03

Check the AI guidance

Our automated helper reviews government records and borrower reports to explain warning signs and cite your legal rights under Philippine law.

04

Share your experience

Submit an anonymous report if an app harassed or scammed you. Your story helps protect other Filipino borrowers and families.

How We Check Information

Search matching

Exact phone number match → app name or website link → borrower complaint mention. The best match is shown first so you get accurate answers instantly.

Caution score calculation

Regulatory record status sets the starting level (revocation records start high; matched records start lower). Active borrower reports (including pending and under-review queues), evidence severity, report votes, and risky identifiers adjust it. Curators can set a reviewed starting baseline; community upvotes increase evidence confidence but never erase adverse signals.

Community moderation

Every report is reviewed to remove private passwords, banking credentials, or abusive spam. Real screenshots and receipts help verify the story.

AI Guidance

Our AI helper reviews the facts, cites relevant Philippine consumer protection laws, and provides practical steps to protect your phone and family. AI guidance is shown separately and does not silently change the transparent score.

Your Legal Rights

SEC MC 18, s. 2019

Prohibition on unfair debt collection practices

Requires fair treatment, privacy of borrower data, and no access to phone contacts or media.

RA 10173

SEC Advisory on Online Lending

Register of financing / lending companies
